The professional team at the Fraser Veterinary Surgery aims to provide a high quality, friendly and personal service, dedicated to caring for your pets, and to you the owners. Our team love our work and many of you already know that you are as much friends as clients.
Our equipment and facilities are comprehensive, enabling us to offer advanced services with minimal delays. For this reason it is good practice that the pet be starved before coming to the surgery for any reason as if an anaesthetic or blood test be required, we will usually do that the same day. This enables treatment to be started before the condition develops further. We offer 24 hour hospitalisation and nursing care when required.
We have a low turnover of staff so that we all get to know each other. We ensure continuity of care, as the vet who first sees a patient will remain with that case until completed so that continuity may be maintained by seeing the same vet every time for that illness. There is no set duration for a consultation so that every patient will get the attention required. That sometimes means that you might have to wait a bit though.
An ophthalmology referral service is also offered to help veterinary surgeons and their clients from other practices who have problem eye cases.
Ophthalmology referral cases must be referred by a veterinary surgeon. As professional ethics require this, we are unable to accept such cases directly. Please click this button for further information on the ophthalmology service and how to refer a case.
