Kenneth J. Fraser - BVM&S, Cert.V Ophthal, MRCVS

Born and raised in Edinburgh, he graduated in June 1978 from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh.  After three months in Shropshire he moved to farm practice in Aberdeenshire where he met his wife.  A move to Oxford followed in 1982 where he started to work with pet animals and then to specialise in ophthalmology, gaining the Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 1987.  Kenneth opened the practice in 1987 and lives close to the practice with Kathleen, Bertie a Jack Russell terrier and Lily, the perfect cat.  Two sons are now adults but turn up from time to time.

Natalia Giannakopoulou - DVM, MRCVS

Natalia is from the town of Serres, Greece. She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2016. Natalia visited the practice in November for three months as an intern under the EU Erasmus programme and as she impressed us with her enthusiasm and ability , she was invited to join the practice team as a permanent member in December. She is interested in all aspects of companion care practice and particularly in ophthalmology and internal medicine.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, hapkido and other martial arts.

Nursing Staff:

Rachael is our RVN and head nurse.  She joined the practice in 2001 and so will be well known to everyone. She lives in Abingdon with Cougar her Bengal cat.  When she gets time off, she likes to go skiing and walking.

Caroline joined the practice in 2014. She currently lives in Lambourn. Her spare time is taken up by her retired Greyhound and her two mini-lop rabbits.

Beina started at the practice in March 2014. She moved here from Glasgow where she had finished her Master's degree on Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law in Glasgow University. She comes from Greece and had been working with wildlife since 1998 as a wildlife rehabilitator.  She loves birdwatching and wildlife photography. In September she started her veterinary nursing programme at Sparsholt College.

Kayleigh joined us in 2013. She recently moved to Abingdon with her husband. They spend their free time visiting their families, including their families' two rabbits, Nettle and Mellie and Labrador, Dandy.
